This Privacy Policy explains how PDF to Image Converter (freepdftoimg.com) handles information when you use our free PDF to JPG and PDF to PNG tools.

1. File conversion
When you convert a PDF, the file is read and processed locally in your browser. It is not uploaded to freepdftoimg.com.
Local processing
PDF pages are rendered in your browser and saved as JPG or PNG on your device.
Temporary memory
The file stays in browser memory only while you convert and download.
No server upload
Your PDF and converted images are not sent to our servers.
Automatic cleanup
Closing the tab clears that in-browser data.
HTTPS
The site is served over HTTPS.
In-browser conversion
Files stay on your device during conversion.
No file storage
We do not keep copies of your documents.
No signup
You do not need an account to convert.
2. Information we do collect
2.1 Website analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used. This typically includes pages viewed, approximate location (country/region), browser and device type, and referral source. It does not include the contents of your PDF files.
2.2 Advertising
Some pages load Google AdSense. Google may use cookies or similar technologies to show ads and measure performance. See Google’s Privacy Policy and how Google uses ads information.
2.3 Support email
If you email [email protected], we receive whatever you send (usually your address, message, and any technical details you include). We use that only to reply and fix issues.
2.4 Scripts and CDNs
The converter loads libraries from a content delivery network (for example pdf.js on cdnjs). The CDN operator may see a request from your browser, as with any third-party script. Those requests do not include your PDF file contents.
3. What we do not do
- We do not sell your personal information.
- We do not store your PDF or converted images on our servers.
- We do not require registration to convert files.
4. Cookies
The converter itself does not need cookies to turn a PDF into an image. Cookies may still be set by:
- Google Analytics — usage measurement
- Google AdSense — advertising
You can block or delete cookies in your browser. Blocking analytics or ads cookies will not stop in-browser conversion.
5. Data retention
- Your files: not stored on our servers
- Analytics: retained according to our Google Analytics settings
- Support emails: kept only as long as needed to handle your request
6. Your choices
You can use a cookie blocker, Google’s ad settings, or browser controls to limit analytics and ads. You can ask us about support emails you sent by writing to [email protected].
7. Children
The converter does not require personal information. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child sent us personal information by email, contact us and we will delete it.
8. Changes
We may update this policy. The effective date at the top will change when we do.
